Submit RFI/RFPSonoSites first mission was to create an ultrasound machine that could be carried into battle and used to make time-critical medical decisions under the most grueling conditions imaginable. The concept was simple: get treatment to a trauma victim within the first 60 minutes of being injured by giving a frontline clinician an ultrasound machine that could easily be brought to the patients side. It was a concept that had been put into practice for years but with equipment that was anything but easy-to-move. Enter the SonoSite 180. Designed in partnership with point-of-care clinicians, weighing less than 10 lbs and built for the battlefield, the 180 was born for the bedside.
